April 17th to 22nd at Camp Middlesex – Fire’s Dawn III: Fields of Flame

EVENT DESCRIPTION:

While the wiser leaders of the world took great note of the troubles in Seleukos, the aging ruler of House Kardos and King of Allethia remains deaf to the tidal changes affecting their Northern neighbor. Raids and border skirmishes have always been a fact of life in relations between the two, but never has there been a will or a way for the Seleukans to challenge the might of Allethia. But when a scion of the ancient house of Lacore, once thought eradicated, emerges as the supreme leader of a united Seleukos, Kardos and its allies have every reason to fear. As the wounds of old rip open once more, the once bountiful lands of Allethia will fall into fields of flame.

This event will be a five day residential vacation experience for ages 10+. It will be a mixture of event time and workshops, culminating in a 24-hour in-game period!

End of Year Events

End of year events have been an important part of the L.A.P. curriculum since we began running classes in Arlington in 2007. Part larp backstory, part graduation ceremony, these events follow the students through their foundation curriculum in middle school. Each event is largely organized and put on by the corresponding class of high schoolers, with the guidance of our adult staff, as a way to contribute to the inter-generational learning of our community.

Many students have found it rewarding to not only PC their own end-of-year-event, but also to NPC those of the other classes. To that end, we are offering a package deal for the full crop of events. Purchase of the package entails PC participation in one event and NPC participation in the remaining two events.

PRICING:

Early Registration valid from April 11th to April 29th – $250.00
Standard Registration valid from April 30th to May 6th – $300.00

IMPORTANT! To take advantage of the package offer, please add all three products to your cart – it will automatically reduce the cost to the package offer once all three items are there.

Payments must be made through our online storefront (store.larpadventureprogram.com) and may be in the form of credit card, paypal, or check-by-mail. All payments are non-refundable, you are purchasing a ticket to an event. This event will run rain or shine.

FORMS NEEDED:

All participants must fill out an Event Registration Form.
If not already a member, please fill out appropriate Membership Form: Youth or Adult.

thirdyearevent

May 21st to 22nd at Winnekinni Castle – Fool’s Gold

EVENT DESCRIPTION:

A wily band of rogues from the depths of Eldrania have already been the cause of many a bard’s song with their antics exploiting the chaos of the Queen’s fall. Whether their success is the result of unusual skill, raw talent or simply dumb luck, these rogues have earned themselves a reputation – and a bounty. But they continue on without a care in the world. Though they criss-cross the ocean, face their rivals and loot to their heart’s delight, they have always kept a clear line between themselves and the pirates of old. But all good stories must come to tragedy eventually, and the rogues of Eldrania are long overdue.

But what does that have to do with a village far away to the North, of which the Eldranians know not even the name? They may never find out, but there is a connection nonetheless and as the Conjunction looms, disparate heroes may unite to face a common enemy – or divide to feed their own selfish goals.

girlsevent

May 27th to 30th at Temenos – In the Feast of Shadows

EVENT DESCRIPTION:

Ever since the heroes of Etheraz first came to the realms of the Fae, they have only ever dealt in crisis. Restoring stability to these lands was all that mattered and, with the restoration of the watchtowers and the regrowth of the Aetherium Tree, it seems that the heroes have succeeded. Unfortunately, the journey has only just begun for these heroes.

All that has been lost in this fight, all that the heroes have sacrificed, and all the hopes and dreams of the innocent stand a precarious chance of being all in vain. Never before has the importance of their actions been made clear to these heroes and, often, their purpose has seemed doubtful. But no more. They must discover the reason behind their sacrifice. They must know the purpose of their actions. They must unravel the secrets of this realm and come to understand the legacy of the Queen.

This event is intended to celebrate the female members of the L.A.P. community and thus, in order to participate as a PC, members must either be female or be invited by a female member of our community. As a radically inclusive community, we include all those who identify as female, regardless of birth designation, in this invitation.

Late Registration valid from May 7th to May 20th – $440.00 (PC) $360.00 (NPC)
